Anyone remember Punky Brewster? I recently bought Jessa a DVD w/ all the episodes on it and she loves it! Today I overheard her singing the theme song which starts out: "Maybe the world is blind..." except she was singing "Maybe the world is blond..." That's my Jessa!!

Mom: "Jessa, the doctor made this medicine taste like bubble gum so you will like it." After tasting it, Jessa replies: "Yeah, bubble gum that's been in the garbage!"

Too much TV or too much truth?

"Mom, is your life getting harder?" asks Jessa this morning. "Why?" I ask. "Because I heard on TV that Obama is making our lives harder." Ohhhhhhh, the wisdom of a 5-year-old. : )
